Children in Need - Friday 18th Nov

Donations can be made to Children in Need via ParentPay, please see links below.

It is ‘Children In Need’ day next week! In both schools we always like to support the charity. The theme is ‘BE SPOTACULAR’ therefore everything we do at school and ask for from home will link to the theme.

The school council in both schools have met with Mrs Howard and decided on the following:

  • Children to wear anything spotty (spotacular) OR any Children In Need t-shirts/head bands etc and make a donation to the Children In Need charity by either bringing money in to school or donating via ParentPay

    Junior pupils ParentPay link

If your child doesn’t have anything spotty or Pudsey then simple mufti will be fine.
  • The children will be challenged throughout the day to ‘be spotactular’ at on-the-spot challenges. Each class will be setting 5 on the spot challenges. These challenges will be; a physical challenge, a brain power challenge, a spotty challenge, a kindness challenge and a dance or singing challenge.
  • The children will all take part in Children In Need activities within their classes to celebrate how wonderfully hard working the charity is and to raise awareness of the work they do.
  • Competition time….. the school council would also like you to set an on the spot challenge for your family to do at home. The challenge is to draw a picture of Pudsey or Blush or both, taking part in an on the spot challenge. Children will need to bring in their pictures on Friday 18th to enter the competition. Please ensure the child’s name and class name are on the picture and given in to their teacher. The winner will be revealed on Monday 21st November. Good luck!
