Yatton Infant & Junior Schools are currently CLOSED to children EXCEPT FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND CHILDREN OF CRITICAL WORKERS. Online remote learning is being provided by teachers for all children currently unable to come to school.
Letter from Miss Keeble (5th January):
Further to Boris Johnson's announcement this evening [4th January], I can confirm that Yatton Infant & Junior Schools will be CLOSED from tomorrow EXCEPT FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND CHILDREN OF CRITICAL WORKERS.If your child is in this category, please bring them to school tomorrow morning at 9am, you do not need to book them in (we will set up a booking procedure later in the week). School will finish for these children at 3.20pm.
Breakfast and After School Clubs will continue to run so please access these as normal.
Otherwise, please remain at home and your child's teacher will be in contact with you with regard to remote learning plans over the course of tomorrow.
Apologies for the short notice and the inconvenience this may cause but as you will understand this decision was only taken by the PM at 8pm this evening. Please be assured we will be working hard to ensure that our usual high quality learning is rolled out to your children as quickly as possible.
